permanent deletion of protectd files

I have the last 24" version of mac (recent, thus).
I am not be able to permanently delete files that are said to be 'protected' (probably imported from a pc). I do change the label in 'get informations' but they are still there.

Thanks for adding your name. It's a lot more fun working with "real people"

In the Mac OS X Help, search for "delete protected files".

In the results you should see the topic " You can't empty the Trash or move
a file to the Trash in Mac OS X".

That explains how to deal with the various scenarios.
