Permanetly Deleting Messages (No lined out messages) Outlook 2007

SHIFt/DELETE isnt' working. How can I perm delete my outlook 2007 emails in
my subfolder accounts? When I try to delete them I just get a grey line
through them but they don't disappear. I tried using SHIFT/DELETE but the
messages are still there and now my mailbox is over the size limit. HELP!

I have been having problems when "Purging" my Imap mail in Outlook 2007.
States something to the effect.. (I can't remember) but I have to close and
reopen Outlook for it to Purge. Also some pictures in my Imap mail is not
coming over (just a blank box where the picture should be.
I will try to get the exact error message when it pops up
