Permission on access 2007

I have upgraded access recently and ever since, every time I'm trying to
create new quires and a window opens up saying I do not have permission. I
tried logging in as an administrator but no luck, please advice.

When you say log on as administrator, did that include right-clicking on the
short cut and selecting 'Run as Administrator'? Also, is the database in a
'Trusted Location'? (Look under Help for more informaion on 'Trusted
Locations'.
