Permission problems on the network

I installed my Microsoft Access database on the network.
The version with read/write and read only permissions,
only works on the computer it was initially installed on.
The version with no permissions set, works fine on
multiple computers. Can someone please help? No one,
including our network manager seems to know what the
problem is.
