I was having problems with IIS again but don't know why. I uninstalled IIS
and re-installed IIS. I did repair on FP extensions. Now I can open
http://localhost and http://localhost/webname in IE.
But I cannot open localhost within FP. I get message:
You do not have permission to access the Web Foder location
---------------------------------------------------------
I did the No-No and then navigated to inetpub wwwroot and could open website
within FP. I figured that if I cannot access localhost, I couldn't break it
much more.
What should I do now? I saw blinking icon saying updates were ready to
install in computer this morning. Is it the updates causing me problems?
Unfortunately don't have history of updates showing in Add/Remove
Programs--latest is back in February.
Any suggestions please.
Thanks,
Susan
