Permissions for View Settings

We are on MSPS 07

Is there a setting that will allow the end users to make changes in View
Options, Grouping etc. that will stick for the user but not everyone else??

The way we are currently configured, they can change it, but its not
sticking. Our previous config allowed them to change it and it would
stick...but also made change for everyone else.

Practically speaking, No. The "Save Link" feature of 2003 is not in 2007.

An impractical way to achieve what you ask is to give the users permission
to create views. I am sure you wouldn't want to do that. Things would spin
out of control very fast.
