Hi There, i was hoping someone could help me...
I have recently created some general, distribution mailboxes in my exchange
2000 environment. These are accessed through outlook 2007 clients as
additional mailboxes on a few of my machines
So that the users that need to send and recieve mails through this account
can do so from their mail client, i have added the From field to their
messages
Here is the issue... Although they can add the distributions name from the
GAL and send on its behalf, they can also add all other names in the address
list, so in theory, chose the CEO's address and send a mail on their behlaf,
even though i have not set delegate permissions on any mailboxes
I am sure there is a simple way to change this so that they can only pick
names from the distribution mailboxes (i.e. if they pick the CEO's, it will
tell them they are not allowed to send) only im not sure where, is it in
outlook or exchange, or is this just one of them quirks that we cant get
round?
Thanks in advance
