permissions problem

Hi!
I am writing a application using ASP and MSAccess.
I create a sql query in order to add or drop a field from my db(thnx to the
help of Dan Artuso, Access MVP)
However, when I try to execute the sql query through the ASP page (not
MSAccess design view), I get the following message:

"Cannot modify the design of table 'Artemis'. It is in a read-only
database."

Any ideas?
Thnx in advance

Check that the id that the IIS server is running the ASP code under
(typically IUSR_<machinename>) has full control (or at least RWXD) on the
folder where the .MDB is located. It needs this in order to be able to
create the locking file (.LDB). If it can't create the locking file, it
assumes the database is read-only.
