Permissions tab doesn't appear when I try and share the CEO's cale

When I click share my calendar in his Outlook, I only see the General, Home
Page, AutoArchive and Synchronization tabs, but not Permissions, so I'm not
able to share his calendar with other users. I used to be able to, but
something has changed in the last six months. Any ideas on how to get the
permissions tab to appear?

Thanks,

Hi Diane: We're using Outlook 2003. How do I check whether the exchange
extensions addin is enabled in 2003? I tried tools, internet options, other,
advanced options and Add-in manager and saw that exchange extensions commands
and property pages are enabled, but I don't know if that's what you were
referring to.

Thanks for your help,

That is what I wanted to know. Are you sure the CEO is using a mailbox or
ost, and not a pst? You won't want the permissions tab with pst files.

I'm not an IT person, but I went to his computer just now and did the
following: Tools>Email accounts>view or change existing email
accounts>change>more settings>advanced>offline folder file settings. I did
this not because I knew what I was doing, but because it led me by chance to
a file with ost at the end, which was C:\Documents and
Settings\ddavenport\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.ost. Does this answer your question?

What do you think, should I get our IT guy involved in this?

Thanks,

Yes, that means he is using cached mode. It would probably be easier to
have your IT guy look at it - some things are easy to solve in person and he
may see the problem right off. But before you call him - verify outlook is
online - look on the File menu - is work offline checked?
