permissions tab not there ??

Hi There

I am trying to share my outlook folders with my colleague and we can sort
his out with no problem but when trying to share my inbox etc I click on the
sharing option but the permissions tab to actually share the folder, calendar
etc just isnt there. I have set up another user on my PC and added my e-mail
account and it works fine so it obviously something to do with the settings
on my user.

Does anyone know what it might be or do I have to start using a new user?

1) Make sure you are not bringing up the properties on a folder in a PST
file

2) If running Outlook 2003 and running in cached mode, make sure you are
"connected"

Thanks Neo

the status definitely says connected and the folder is not a .pst (I looked
at the backup facility and it told me that no personal folders files were
open).

Any more ideas?

Make sure Exchange Extensions are not disabled. (See Help > About Microsoft
Outlook > Disabled items)

Make sure Exchange Extensions are being loaded. (See Tools > Options > Other
Advanced Options > Addin Manager)
