Permissions to all subfolders at a time in a shared mailbox

B

Badam Ramesh

Hi,

I am Ramesh, working as System Administrator. I am facing one problem, Could
you please help me in below problem?

The task is, permissions to be granted to user for 1000 sub folders in a
shared mailbox?. Right now I am giving permissions to each and every folder
which is taking longer time and my all other works are pending when doing
this task.
Is there any solution to grant permissions to all subfolders in a shared
mailbox at a time?

Please write to me (e-mail address removed)
Thanks
Ramesh

No...but if this is truly a shared mailbox, why not just grant the other
users "full mailbox permissions" on the Exchange server itself? You can't
exclude anything - meaning, it will be access to the *entire* mailbox, but
it would sure be a lot easier.

I am not going to ask why there are 1000 subfolders....or why you wouldn't
want to use public folders for this data. I'm just not going to ask. :)

Check out the utility I mentioned, or use a public folder, or instruct users
how to grant the permissions themselves.
