I inherited a file from a previous system in place when my employer acquired a company. Is there any way to access the data in this file and either change the permissions or copy the structure to a new database??

You do not have the necessary permissions to use the object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object estavlish the appropriate permissions for you.

You get that message when you double-click the database?

Yes, I get this message every time I try to open the mdb file

Can anyone offer any solutions to this issue? I have a copy of the workgroup file as well. Should I place it in a location separate from the mdb file?
