I need to know how to allow users to edit fields in an
existing record that has no information in it and only
allow permissions for certain fields to be updated in
order to prevent any accidental deletions or overrides.
If there is a way to tell Access to open a database in a
new record so that way if users started inputting new
information, they wouldn't write over existing
information, that would greatly help me out here too.
I would also like to know how I can seperate a field into
three different fields (Ex: Name field, which contains
first, middle & last, I would like a field for each
instead of it all being in one field).
Any suggestions or help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
Thank you.
