Perplexing File Open Question

I'm supporting 2 different labs both of which have Access 2002 sp1
installed. When doing a File, Open in lab A I get something similar to the
following list:
Microsoft Access
Microsoft Access Databases
Microsoft Access Projects
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Exchange
etc...

In lab B I get something similar to:
Microsoft Office Access (*.mdb;*.adp;*.mda;*mde;...etc.)
Microsoft Office Access Databases(*.mdb)
etc...

which is what I would expect. Why the difference?
