Running HP Pavilion 8500 with Windows XP Media Edition and Microsoft Office
2003:
Outgoing messages remain in OUTBOX and can be neither sent nor deleted.
Incoming messages cannot be moved from INBOX to any other folders.
Can no longer open a NEW message blank to send messages.
Cannot Reply or Forward individual messages received.
Popup that appears in each case indicates, "You don't have permission to
create an entry in this folder. Right-click the folder, and then click
Properties to check your permissions for the folder. See the folder owner or
your administrator to change your permissions." Depending on what I'm trying
to do, the message may vary somewhat but the gist is always 'Permissions'.
I am the only user and Administrator of my network, am properly logged in
but have been at a standstill for a week.
I can:
Download messages.
Delete messages.
My Inbox is rapidly growing larger as I must deal with, rather than delete,
my incoming traffic!
I have:
Closed and reopened Outlook.
Rebooted computer, router and cable modem.
Used Outlook Help to "Detect and Repair" the program.
Run full virus-scan with Norton Internet Security 2009.
Disabled the firewall.
None of the above yielded any progress toward resolving the issues.
Help...anyone!
