I have one client that get and error message "Error printing to 'printer' on
Ne02 or 05, not enough memory". This occurs even though she has not sent
anything to the printer. The error is persistent, click ok and it comes back,
the only way to make it go away is to use task manager to end Excel, causing
lost work. This has occurred on both Windows 2000, Office 2000 and we just
put her on a new machine running XP, with Office XP. The printer is a Toshiba
eStudio 450. We have a couple hundred people using these Toshiba's of one
variety or another. She is the only one reporting the issue. I have examined
the spreadsheet and no macros are present, but there has to be something in
the spreadheet(s) she is using to cause this or else she is doing something
else to Excel for it to follow her from one machine to another. She has no
issue with printing to the printer when she actually does want to print. With
Excel open and even sitting idle, this error will just suddenly pop up.
Thanks for considering this issue.
