I am running Outlook 98 on Win XP SP2. It runs fine. However, I cannot
import or export to my Address Book because the Personal Address Book
Translators are not installed. I believe that these are on the Outlook 98 CD
which I have. When I try to run it to change the Outlook installation to add
the translators, it opens IE and tries to run an Active-X application. This
always fails with an "Error On Page" message even when IE is configured to
allow all active content. My suspicion is that the active content was
designed to run on Win 95 or Win 98 and does not run correctly with Win XP.
Does anyone know of any way that I might get around this problem and install
the Personal Address Book Translators? Thanks in advance.
