Personal Folder Names Are Truncated

Vista Home Premium with Outlook 2003 .... in the past few weeks I have
noticed that my personal folder names are shortened showing only the first
five or six characters of a name. When I collapse the inbox and open it again
the full names are restored. The problem returns once some emails are
received. I have not observed this on my XP machines running Outlook 2003.

Any ideas?
