We need to move personal folders from Mac Outlook 2001 into Windows XP.
We've copied the file, added .pst to filename, but XP sez it's not a pst
file. There's no EXPORT for pst's from within Outlook 2001. Help

Can you just have that user log in on the PC and then
export the .pst?

2001. Help

Unfortunately, Outlook 2001 for Mac does not offer any export options for
its .pst files.

If you're using Outlook 2001 that means you must be using an Exchange
server, therefore you can create a folder on the server (under the Inbox)
and then copy your messages to that folder. The messages will appear to the
XP client in the same place when it connects to the server. If necessary,
you can then copy those messages from the server into a .pst file local to
the XP machine.

Hope this helps! bill

I have successfully copied the personal folder file from
Outlook 2001 to a PC's My documents folder, then imported
the file, after adding the pst extension, successfully
into Outlook 2000. Have not tried Outlook XP yet. It was
not a difficult task. Is Outlook XP that different?
