personal folders not working properly..

Hi,

I created a personal folder in outlook 2007, i often get this erro
while trying to open that folder. kindly help me..

" Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook cannot access th
specified folder location. 'Microsoft Office Outlook' exited withou
properly closing your Outlook data file 'E:\Dinesh\Persona
Folders.pst'. 'Microsoft Office Outlook' must be restarted. If thi
error message recurs, contact support for 'Microsoft Office Outlook' fo
assistance. "

Is E a local hard drive?

E drive a partition of the hard disk in my system.

could anyone please provide me with a solution?

With Outlook closed run scanpst.exe, the repair tool on the problomatic
pst - run it several times if it fixes errs.

Problems such as these can also be caused by add ins or other applications
that accessing the pst, eg sync software.

You appear also to be opening & closing this pst, if so simply leave it open
in Outlook.
