Personalise group email (hide others)

Hi, this is more of a query than a problem. I want to create a list of
people and send them out an email as though sending it to them
personally. I don't want them to see a whole list of other recipients.
I'm not sure what this is called whether it is a type of mail merge or
a kind of distribution list. Can anyone help? Thanks

I hope you are not writing your wedding gift thank-you's this way
But, this is not an Excel issue so you should ignore my feeble attempt
at humor and post to a group that discusses your e-mail application.
