personnel database template

please help a newbie. i work for a shipping co. have
been asked to build a personnel database for all seagoing
crew (emp details, medical, training req, etc). is there
a template that i can use to start with? i use access 97.

Chona:

I don't know if there is such a template, but it is easy
to find out.
Whenn you open Access 97 a filedialog appear, with 3
options.
1.Empty Data base
2.Create with the Wizard
3.Open a DB

So. all what you have to do is to see which one "match"
your needs. You also should open the Access help and
install the Northwind DB to see how it is built, and
learn the basics to create a db.
Templates are ok as a guidence. You will never see a
truly db made by the wizard. So please don't expect to
find a template tha do all what you need, neither to fit
your needs 100%.
