PERT Duration Issues

Hello,
We are using Project Professional 2003 (11.2.2005.1801.15) SP2 and Project
Web Access.

We are using the PERT calculation feature of MS Project. I enter a task with
Opt Dur=1 mon, Exp. Dur = 6 mon and Pess Dur= 16 Mons. Pressong the CACULATE
PERT icon creates a Duration = 0.01 mons?

Also when we add a new task we get a scheduling message statis the task
cannot be completed in the time allocated because of a scheduling conflict.
We even get this for new projects.

These errors started to appear yesterday for the first time.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

Resolve the scheduling conflict first. It is very likely that it is why you
are getting strange results from PERT.
If you are getting a scheduling message when you insert a single task in a
new blank project, then I suspect something is wrong with your project
installation. Try repairing or reinstalling (from the "Add or Remove
Programs" control panel.

Just an update. After much digging we found a EntrpiseDuration Field
Corrupted. After deleting the field from the global template all apears to
work again.
