Pesky Approvals!!!

Hi

I would like to be able to have the timesheet updates go straight into
the project without the need for the PM to approve them in Project Web
Access. Is this possible?

Basically, we never reject timesheet entries and it's just an extra
chore. Also, if the PM is away on holiday for two weeks, someone else
has to go in a approive the tasks on his behalf.

I'm sure we can be the only ones wanting to work this way.

Yeah "RIGHT ON" on Allen shout it from the rooftops.
I'm one day into my second stab at a PWA rollout
and I hate this already.

There is the ability to configure the rules to streamline.

Updates page
Actions: Set rules for automatically accepting changes.

There is no default method within Project Server to automatic the processing
of task updates into each project plan. The closest that you can come to
automation is for each project manager to create one or more Rules in
Project Web Access, but the PM must still click the Run Rules Now button to
process the updates. Hope this helps.
