I need some help!
After application startup, the master form (MF) displays one or more
reference documents needing review. The login ID determines the “assignedâ€
record-set that appears, by using an SQL statement.
For each MF record, a linked sub-form (LSF) displays the record of the
original assignment with a date and a short note from the manager explaining
what needs to be done. Within the LSF there is a multi-record form (MRF) that
allows the user to enter their own action records to document how they have
completed their assignments.
As long as a user has one or more master records of assigned work appearing
in the MF, everything (seems) to work fine.
Here is rub #1:
If any user has all of their assigned records removed (the records that have
previously appeared in the LSF), then all other users, at their very next
login, will see #Name? in all of the fields of the MRF. The users will be
able to view their MF records and their LSF records, but in the MRF form, the
record-set will not appear for any of the other users!
Here is rub #2:
If an assignment record is re-entered for the deleted user, then all seems
to be back working again.
I will welcome your thoughts!!
