I've been a long time user of the PF Backup tool. Since installing Offiice
2003 and downloading the latest version of this tool, it fails to work
properly. I keep several PST files open at a time and in the past would set
PFBackup to back them all up every 1 day. This backs them all up when I exit
Outlook. With this new version it sporadically backs up files and even
after setting it to back up only one PST file it fails to backup and reports
a message "No files set for backup".
I have reinstalled the entire computer and Office (for other reasons) and I
still get the same behavior. This tool used to work great but it is now
unreliable and unpredictable. I'm considering reverting to Office XP
because I can't get this tool to work.
Does anyone have any idea why this thing is not working as it should? Or
does anyone know of another backup tool that does work ?
