PFB tool error "cannot access file ..another process locked a port

Outlook 2003 - trying to back up my personal folders to another PC on my
home network. I have gone File: Back Up; selected personal folders to back up
and selected the file location, then Save Backup (got message that it will be
saved next time I exit Outlook). When I exit Outlook I get: "Error Copying
File or Folder: Cannot Copy Outlook: The process cannot access the file
because another process has locked a portion of the file." How do I deal
with this?
