phantom reminders

For the last two weeks I have had reminders pop up that are not meeting
scheduled for that day. The are sometimes for past meetings and sometimes
future meetings. I ran Outlook diagnostics and it came back clean. I'm using
Outlook 2007 and my computer is running automatic updates regularly. Any
suggestions on how to make these phantom reminders stop?

The first thing to try is starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders
command switch.
Start>Run (or Start Search)>outlook.exe /cleanreminders
Be sure to include the space.
