phantom text disappearing then reappearing on email

I really need help here - I am running Windows XP pro, with business contact
manager 2007. Sometimes (not all the time,) when I send an email, copy
remains on the subject line, but when the recipient opens the email, the text
is gone completely, including any signatures. If the recipient then fowards
or replys to the email, the text magically re-appears. I thought Bus Contact
manager was the culptrit and removed it from my system, but it is still
happeneing - mostly in HTML, but it also happens in rich text and plain text.
