Phases and Sub Tasks

I am trying to create my plan - whilst setting up the structure it appears
that when I update a date on my indented task it does not update the parent
task. How do i get this to do it automatically?

Try checking that your settings in Tools>Options>Calculation are set to
automatic. If they are set to manual you will need to press F9 to calculate
the project.
