phone call problem

I am having trouble with MS Office Outlook 2002 sp3 phone dialer using XP
Home sp2 operating sys. I can dial and hear the dialing process through my
head phones, but nothing when the other party answers. I have BVRP Phone Tool
and it is working properly. My modem is a Conexant HSF V92 56K RTAD
Speakerphone and has an AT setting that controls the line monitor. I see a
option in the BVRP controls for this setting, but I can not find one in
Outlook I have tried to change my modem setting thru hyper terminal, but I am
not experienced with this procedure. I have searched web sites help files
with no results for the correcting this exact problem. Can you provide
information help or procedures to correct the problem?
