I'm looking for solutions to a couple of issues with logging phone calls and
tying them to my business contact entries.
Previously, I logged all of my phone calls in Outlook Journal and now I
would like to import them into Business History of Business Contact Manager
so that they will show up when I open up a Business Contact entry. Whenever
I attempt to import the entries, a warning message pops up saying that the
items need to be linked to an account, business contact, or opportunity. Is
there a way of linking the journal entries to business contacts? Or is there
an alternative way of importing the journal entries into Business Contact
Manager?
Short of being able to import the journal entries, I would even be willing
to manually enter some of the important calls in the phone log, however, the
phone log entries do not allow the call time to be edited/modified. Is there
a work around for this? Or, is there a fix or functionality change for this
issue?
