phone input mask

I'm using "(703) "000\-0000;0;_ for a phone number input
mask in a text box.

In a new record, I'm getting (703) ___-___0 before I even
enter anything. The '703' is fine but I can't figure out
where the '0' is coming from?

Has anyone else had this challenge?
