Phone No. Format

D

Dunn

How can I change the format of my phone numbers?

When I enter 10 digits, they all display "run together"
(like this: 9195237502). Sometimes it gives me an
international display w/ a 1+ in front of the number.

I'm looking for the standard American display of (910) 553-
6198.

I must be missing a setting, in outlook or my settings
menu or something?

Thank you.

They should mask that way automatically if your location is set correctly.

I believe that if you go to Control Panel | Regional Options and set
your country in there, that is where Outlook pulls it's info from.

If that doesn't work then go to Contacts | Actions | Call Contact | New
Call and choose Dialling Properties. That may not have been set up yet.
(You enter your location and area code, etc.)
