I am taking a class where we are doing powerpoint presenations. The book and the class is taught for a Windows system so there are no Mac instructions. Right now I need the photo album feature, but I need more than the toolbox picture insertion. I need the mac version of the photo album dialogue box from windows. PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME THERE IS AN ANSWER!

Hi,

There is an answer but it might not make you very happy.

The Photo Album feature is not in the 2008 version of Mac PowerPoint.

There is a visual basic add-in you can purchase for PowerPoint 2004, and
you can "roll your own" VBA in 2004 to accomplish this for free.

As the author of the 2004 VBA version I didn't see the point of trying
to convert it to AppleScript. It was hard enough to do it in VBA.

The solution in your case is to install Office 2004 or to wait for the
next full version of Mac Office, which will have VBA again. You might
also run a Windows version of Office in Parallels.

OpenOffice and NeoOffice don't have an equivalent feature (even the beta
version 3 doesn't).
