I am downloading from microsoft template, It tells me after I download to go
to the folder to which it was saved in and extract the file. I did that but
it doesn't work.

I mean that I am not able to download the template the normal way, I was
thinking that maybe the 2007 version has something to do with it, but I
downloaded a regular business card template and it worked fine. I am trying
to download the template that has the man on it with the photo aligned to the
right..........please help

What you are trying to download is an electronic business card. It opens in
Outlook and you change the information. Right-click Rob's photo, click change
picture.
If you want a business card with a photo, simply insert a photo into a regular
business card template.
