Photo editing software compatible with PowerPoint

We are attempting to find the best software to both edit
our digital photographs and that are most compatible with
PowerPoint presentation composition. We are very
disappointed with PhotoSuite 4 and need something more in
keeping with our predisposition to use Microsoft's type
of intuitive interface. Are there any suggestions? Does
Picture It! work well here? Thanks for the input.

I would take a look at Microsoft Digital Image 9 Suite - -
http://www.microsoft.com/products/imaging/products/disinfo.asp. I don't
have it, but I think it's the PictureIt replacement. Digital Image Pro 7.0,
which I do have, was also called PictureIt and it has an easy to use
intuitive interface.
