Photo Editor - Multiple problems

I have a number of problems with Photo Editor running as part of Office 97
under Windows XP Home Edition. I never had these problems on my old PC
under Windows 98SE, nor do I have any problems on my new PC with the rest
of Office 97.

The problems are:

1. Open and Save dialog boxes are different to the ones I had under Win98.
They are crude versions which don't let you see the whole of long file
names, nor allow you to see file details such as date last modified.
2. The File menu appears corrupted, with two Save entries instead of Save
and Save As, and a confused recent files list with interspersed menu items.
3. I can only run Photo Editor maximized, as the small-windowed mode is off
the screen.
4. Attempts to print images produce only blank pages, and it always
defaults to Fax, not to my default printer.

I've seen some of these problems mentioned here individually, but not all
of them together! I've tried removing and reinstalling Photo Editor from
my Office 97 SR-1 CD, and have also installed SR-2, but to no avail.

My PC is a Mesh (not Dell!) with AMD Athlon 2400+ 2.0GHz CPU, 512MB RAM.

Any suggestions?
