Photo Editor prints 4 pgs instead of 1

Although I request 1 copy, Photo Editor always prints 4 copies. The printer
window shows 1 copy printing, then suddenly changes to 2, then 3, then 4.
This is the only program that affects my printer in this way. I currently
have a Canon, but it did the same thing with my HP. How can I get it to print
what I request? Thanks.

Open the printer folder, right-click the printer, click printing preferences, does it
say "4 copies?" Some programs will default to the printing preferences.

We are having the exact same problem when using the printer button, except
only three copies are printed.
The solution proposed by Mary Sauer does not help. Neither does reinstalling
the program or manually replacing all files in the Photo Editor folder.
If right-clicking jpg-files in their home folder and selecting print the
same problem occurs. On the contrary, only one copy is printed if using the
print option in the file menu or pressing ctrl+p.
Any suggestions?
