Photo Editor - Rotate Pic By Degrees and Pic Disappears

T

Thom Leno

Unable to rotate pics by degrees on all laptops and pcs we
tested it on. This happens on Office 2000 Professional's
Photo Editor.

If you use the button on the tool bar to rotate the pic,
there is no problem. But if you use Image\Rotate on the
menu bar and then click on By Degree, the pic will go
white. It also changes size. Which may be the "New"
blank picture size.

The pic doesn't go away, you can undo or just not save the
outcome. Has anyone experienced the same thing and
possibly has a resolution to the problem?

Thanks very much

Hi Thom,

Unfortunately the rotate by degree feature in Photo Editor 2000
was broken by an Office 2000 update and wasn't
fixed again until Office XP if this is the bug
I'm thinking of.
