Photo Editor... where to find.

My friend, and his puter which has Office '97 with Photo Editor on it, are moving. Therefore I have to go out and buy '97. I found some still sealed ones on e-bay and at the local software resale shop. Problem is, no one seems to know if Photo Editor is in there as the boxes never say. Which version of '97 is it included in? Is it "riding" under another program such as publishing or power point? Obviously I can't return software once I buy it and the Photo Editor is the only reason I'd buy it. THANKS MEGATONS for your help A.S.A.P. I HAVE to have this program for my work. Karen :(

It should be on all versions of Office 97, as it is in Office 2000 and
Office XP. It's seen as a utility rather than a full program.

There are dozens of other (cheaper) packages with the features of Photo
Editor - and more. For instance JASC's Paint Shop Pro is excellent - even
allowing editing of Photoshop files, and there's usually a trial download
version. www.jasc.com
