Photo Gallery - pictures don't scroll

M

Matt Surette

I'm using FP2003 and I've created a Photo Gallery with seven pictures in it.
I'm using the Slideshow presentation which shows thumbnail pictures in a row
and places a left arrow at the left side of the row of pictures and a right
arrow at the right side of the row of pictures. I get five of the seven
pictures on the picture row. The two pictures that aren't displayed are to
the right and you need to scroll to see them. My problem is, when I click on
the right arrow the pictures it doesn't scroll, no matter how many times I
click the right arrow. However, if I click the left arrow and then click the
right arrow, the scrolling works and the pictures then scroll to the right.
Any idea why this isn't working if you just click the right arrow? Any help
is appreciated.

can you provide a link to this offending page?
what browser is giving you this behavior?

when I hit the home page there were a bunch of JavaScript errors. I think
they were coming from that navigation bar on the left but I didn't dig in.
there were also a few on the project gallery page.

you may have better luck with only one of those type galleries per page.

the slide show gallery never was really "cross browser" but it worked ok in
IE.

You may want to try a different script to do this slide show. there are
some good suggestions here:
