I am using FP 2002. The Photo gallery component does not work well. Do most
people use the Photo Gallery in PhotoShop? If so, how do you coordinate that
with Front Page?

Take a look at JAlbum...its free, customizable, and easy to incorporate into
FP webs...so are Photoshop galleries. Google for the URL.

Post back if you need help with either method.

I will look at JAlbum later, but right now my photo gallery is already
created in PhotoShop. How do I get it into FrontPage?

Just a guess since I don't use Photoshop..but doesn't creating the photo
gallery produce a folder? If so have you tried importing that folder into
your FrontPage web?

Yes, it produces a folder - but a folder of JPEG's - no file of instructions
for these jpeg's.

I had looked at your site before. You briefly mention Adobe Photoshop v.7,
but you don't say how to get the gallery into FrontPage.

YES! I was looking at the wrong folder - one I had named similarly. When I
imported the folder and hyper-linked to the index file, it worked perfectly!

In order to use JAlbum I have to download Java. Is there any danger that
will damage my computer system? I use a Windows system with an XP.

I will ask you what I asked Crash. In order to use JAlbum I have to download
Java. Is there any possibility that this could damage my system? I am using
Windows XP. Do you use Windows or Mac?

Nah, no problem...just scan for virius like you would any other dl.

btw, it only uses Java to generate t he albums...your viewers don't need JVM
to see the albums.

*Import* the entire folder from outside your FP web/site...then create a
link to it's index page.
