Photodraw 2000 doesn't work any more!

I reinstalled Photodraw 2000 twice from the original CD and provided the CD
key.

Photodraw ends upon opening with the statement:

"Photodraw has encountered a problem and must close".

I am running Windows XP home edition and I have automatic updates active.

I would appreciate it if Windows would allow me to use this software.
