Hi,

I found that a Restricted user of MS windows cannot open
gif and jpg files with Photo Editor of MS office. Is
there any method to solve it without upgrade the user to
power user priviliage.

Thx.

I have the exact same problem. Though the registryfix didn´t work, th
only fileformat there is in PhotoEditor is .tga.

I uninstalled Office97 and installed it again with everything accepted

When I did that, it worked fine with all formats.

What I want to know is, what part did the trick?
Anyone got an idea?
