Photoeditor??

I had a ME machine with Office 2000 Pro. One of the nicest programs was
Photoeditor. I now have 2 XP machines on which I installed Office 2000 Pro, but
no Photoeditor was loaded on either.

Not sure they are the same disks, but all the PCs had Office 2000 Pro installed
on them. Are there different levels of 2000 Pro that may or may not have
photoshop? Can I download Photoeditor?

Any help appreciated. Thanks

Photo Editor came with the older version of Office. I can't remember if
with Office 2000 or not, but I know it was delivered with Office 97.

Dig out your CD for Office 2000 and run the install program and see if
it is an optional component that did not get installed when you loaded
it on the XP machines.

Microsoft Photo Editor is included on the Office 2000
Professional disk #1, but it is not automatically
installed. To install, put Disk 1 in your CD drive. It
should start the setup process automatically, but if it
does not, browse to the CD, and click setup.exe. When the
setup window appears, click the Add/Remove Features icon.
In the next window, expand the Office Tools item. In the
next window, click the box next to Microsoft Photo
Editor. Click "run from my computer" and then click the
update now button at the bottom of the screen. Photo
Editor should install.

Thanks for the tips; Photo Editor now running on my XP box. You folks are
great!

I've used a lot of graphics programs and like Photoshop 7.0 for serious work,
but I especially like Microsoft Photo Editor for my personal family pics, both
from digital cameras and from scans of my 35mm stuff.

Office is all I want to use or need. Thanks Microsoft for all the great stuff
:)
