Please help me understand what's going on!!

I use my site for routine things, chiefly posting family photos. I'm using
Frontpage 2003, run XP Pro SP2. I've been using Frontpage for a few years
now. Here's the problem: I compose a photo gallery and publish it. I get
a page that contains only text like

"[photogallery/photo00007575/photogallery/photo00007575/real.htm]"

or something like it, with the numbers being different. What causes this,
and what can I do to correct it?
