photos disappear but in FTP

I have a website for a car club built using FrontPage 2003. On the page are
some 12 - 15 photos in a table with a line of text under each and I'm using
Terrapin as my FTP.
My problem is that some, not all, of the photos are showing on the page. I
have resized my photos to get very small file sizes and have deleted all from
my FTP and resent after saving in a different folder on my computer. I have
correctly uploaded to the FTP, as photos can be seen by double clicking in
their folder but will not show on the web page.
What have I done wrong? Suggestions please

Did you import the images into your open FP web and then insert them on your page, then upload the
page and the photos?

Yes. Page was built using FP, it has saved the images in My Web folder and
then uploaded both page and images. I deleted all images from my FTP and
re-loaded the page, having saved the images in a new folder and re-built the
page in FP, this time different images were not seen. Very odd.

It sound like you are inserting the images from a folder outside of your web, and then letting FP
import the image, you need to import the images into your web first, then insert on your page from
within the web.

View the site in IE, then right click one of the images that is not showing and look at the
properties to see the path to the image.
