Photos Show Borders But No Photos

Hello again,

Another recent discovery. I have a one page document which has several
photos at the top with text below. It has been saved as a Word 2004
document ("title ....doc").

I find that the document now opens fine except that none of the photos
are shown. Instead, what appears are lines showing the outline of each
photo in its proper place, but the photo itself is absent. Each photo
space is blank.

Is there a setting that I should turn on or off? Thanks.

Try Word | Preferences | View and uncheck "image placeholders".
