Photoshop and PowerPoint integration

Hi!

I am looking for a plugin (or some other way to do this) between Powerpoint
and Photoshop. So when I have a PP presentation and want to work on a
picture in it, it takes me directly to Photoshop, lets me work on the
picture and then insert it back into the presentation.

A collegue told me that this is possible with Windows. Do you know if there
is a way to do this on a Mac (OSX 10.3.3) as well?

thanks for your attention
I would appriciate it, if you also sent your answers to me personally:

Hi Ann,

You can change the default picture editor by opeining Word, clicking on
Tools, Options, select the Edit Tab and change the picture editor in the
drop down box. But Photoshop isn't listed as one of the options, so you'd
probably have to chase it down in the registry.

This is strictly a personal opinion, so take it for what it is worth. I
tend to keep my original images as PSD files and it is that file that I want
to edit if I need to make changes, not the shmushed version of the image
that is in PowerPoint and has been further shmushed. If you always "link"
your images, you can edit the PSD in PS and then save it with the same name
and path that PowerPoint is linked to and your changes will be reflected
when you next open the presentation.
